Students on Safari (Book Fair Safari, that is)

The library turned into "Safari Land" for the fall book fair. Students enjoyed selecting books for purchase. They also enjoyed meeting "Geronimo Stilton," who has his own series of books. Geronimo greeting students one morning as they arrived at school.

Teen Read Week Luncheon

Congratulations to K. Clardy. She knew that Friday's chef was Mrs. Dean. Our five winners will be experiencing a fine dining experience on Monday at lunch with our secondary principal and our headmaster filling the servers' roles. The contest was fun. Winner No. 3 Is Announced!

A. Goldhagan is our winner for Wednesday. Mrs. Oliver was our chef. Thursday's chef makes very, very good rolls and biscuits. Can you guess his/her identity? Enter your guess in the library on Thursday before the end of school.

Congratulations to A. Diers! She knew that yesterday's "chef" was Mrs. Watson. Now, who will be able to guess the identity of today's mystery "chef" and earn a place at our prize luncheon table? Hint: this teacher teaches in both elementary and secondary schools.

Teen Read Week "Books with Bite" Contest

Teen Read Week is Oct. 13 - 17!!

Pictured is our contest's mystery chef for Monday. Students in grades 7 - 12 are invited to come by the library to enter your guess about the identity of the "chef." The five daily winners will dine at a Formal Lunch on Monday, Oct. 20 with surprise maitre d's.

Check our blog daily for the winners' names and each day's mystery chef (All mystery persons are LSA faculty members).

When you visit the library to submit your entry, be sure to look at the display of "Books with Bite."
