We had perfect weather for our outside celebration of both Read across America Day and our W.O.R.D. (Warriors Own Reading Day). From 9:30 until 10:00 the entire elementary school and teachers (grades preschool - sixth) read on the playground after forming a big "L S A" to show everyone that LSA supports and encourages reading. Dr. Roberts joined us, and we also had visits from the Cat in the Hat and Thing One and Thing Two.
